RideVivo lets a cyclist share a live ride with people who have their spectator link. This policy explains the information used to provide that service.
Information we collect
While you have an active ride, RideVivo collects precise location, timestamps, GPS accuracy, speed, elevation when available, ride distance, rider name, and ride title. Viewers may provide a display name, reaction, and short message. We also process short-lived viewer session identifiers to show audience presence.
How we use information
We use this information to record and display the route, calculate ride statistics, operate the live spectator page, deliver viewer reactions, diagnose reliability problems, prevent abuse, and secure the service. RideVivo does not use this information for cross-app advertising or sell personal information.
Location and sharing
Location is collected only after you start a ride and grant permission. Background location lets the broadcast continue while RideVivo is not on screen or the phone is locked. Collection stops when you finish the ride, disable location permission, or terminate the app. Anyone with the unguessable spectator link may view the location and ride information shared through that link, so share it only with people you trust.
Storage and service providers
Ride and viewer information is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored using infrastructure providers that process it on our behalf. On-device session and diagnostic information may remain until it is replaced, cleared, or the app is removed.
Retention and deletion
We retain ride information while needed to provide and improve RideVivo. You may request deletion of a ride or associated information by contacting us with the rider name, approximate ride date, and spectator link. We may retain limited information where required for security, legal compliance, or dispute resolution.
Your choices
You can stop an active ride in the app, revoke location access in iOS Settings, avoid sharing a spectator link, and request access to or deletion of your information.
